Robert A. Lerman holds the degrees of Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering: College of the City of New York (1957), Master of Science in Mathematics: Adelphi College (1961), and Master of Science in Electrical Engineering: University of Connecticut (1964). Since 1981, Mr. Lerman has been President and a Director of Thermodynetics and in 2003, he was named CEO. In 1988, Mr. Lerman co-founded Pioneer Capital Corp., a venture capital corporation of which Mr. Lerman is an officer and Director. Mr. Lerman has been a lecturer for the Hartford Graduate School (affiliated with Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute) and the University of Connecticut graduate school, conducting courses in advanced engineering and mathematics. He has written papers in the field of mathematics which have been published in a number of technical journals. He also co-authored the textbook, Nonlinear Systems Dynamics, Van Nostrand Reinhold, New York, 1992. He was a member of the Governor's Task Force to Study Methods of Financing for Recycling Facilities in Connecticut. Mr. Lerman is active in civic and religious organizations and has served as Trustee and Investment Committee Chairman, as well as other positions. Mr. Lerman also serves as an adviser, director or consultant for other companies, none of which compete with Thermodynetics. |
