Robert (Bob) Huffman became president of Interstate Electronics Corporation (IEC), a division of L-3 Communications, on Oct 1, 2001. He has served the company in a variety of key managerial positions over the past 18 years, including vice president of engineering, general manager of the Military GPS and Communication Systems Department, and operations director for Figgie Medical Systems, IEC’s prior parent company. During his tenure with IEC, Mr. Huffman led business growth into production GPS markets, realigned Engineering into a functional support organization and developed new policies and procedures in support of IEC’s successful quest for ISO 9001 accreditation. Mr. Huffman has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic Engineering from California State Polytechnic University and is a member of the AEA/Stanford Executive Institute. |
