Robert Rubin is a Managing Director of National Capital Companies and is one of the firm’s senior M&A advisors. With more than 25 years of M&A and corporate finance experience in Fortune 100 and entrepreneurial environments, his clients receive a wealth of transactional and industry specific experience with which to enhance and maximize shareholder value. Rob’s efforts are focused on government contracting, software development and commercial IT services, which allows him to provide clients with specialized and in depth industry knowledge to address their specific corporate finance requirements.
He received an undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland with a major in accounting and was awarded an MBA in Corporate Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Rob gained banking experience at Citicorp where has was a commercial lending officer. He was also Director of Corporate Development for Revlon, Inc. and Director of New Business for Sterling Drug, Inc. where he was involved in closing more than 25 transactions worldwide. For the last 10 years his efforts have been focused on M&A and corporate finance transactions for IT and professional service federal government contracting companies.
In addition, his is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and a licensed registered representative (Series 7 & 63) through the NASD. Rob is currently Vice President-Membership and a Board member of ACG, an international network of over 9,000 M&A and corporate growth professionals. He has also served as President and a Board member of the ACG National Capital Chapter. Rob is well known throughout the regional corporate finance community and is a frequent speaker and author on M&A topics. |
