Rob Patton is our representative in Central Florida. Rob's love for computers goes back a long way, first being recognized as captain of the computer team at his high school in 1986. He has a passion for networking and communications systems which led him to his prior position as Director of IT for Voxeo Corporation, the industry leader in standards-based Interactive Voice Response (IVR) solutions. At Voxeo, Rob was responsible for managing the Network Operations Center, as well as support for 200 laptop and 75 desktop computers. Rob's background includes implementation and support of numerous system networks based upon Microsoft Windows, Novell Netware and Linux, which has provided him with a solid understanding of operating systems, communications and computer hardware. Rob's development background started years ago with Turbo Pascal, and has evolved to web-based projects utilizing HTML, Java and ASP. Over the last 10 years he has also maintained a small business providing website hosting services for several clients. Rob is based in the Orlando area, and provides complete onsite system support for our clients throughout Central Florida. His work includes troubleshooting network and communications problems, reconfiguring networks and PCs, and installing, moving and setting up new equipment. |
