Rob MacIvor was named Corporate Vice President of Apogen Technologies in April 2001. Mr. MacIvor brings 20 years of broad-based financial management and accounting experience to his position as Vice President, Finance and Accounting of the combined company.
Before joining Apogen, Mr. MacIvor held the position of Executive Vice President of Finance and Administration at a federal energy, environmental and information technology services company, Los Alamos Technical Associates, Inc. (LATA). While at LATA, he was responsible for managing all aspects of the company’s administrative support functions, including all finance and accounting, human resources, information systems, and contracts activities. He led a major enterprise-wide system implementation at LATA of Deltek’s Costpoint system and managed consulting efforts to implement the Deltek Costpoint system at six outside entities. While at LATA, Mr. MacIvor managed the divestiture of a subsidiary operating in the former Soviet Union and the acquisitions of two companies.
Prior to his role as Vice President of Finance and Administration at LATA, Mr. MacIvor held the position of Director of Finance and Accounting at Advanced Sciences, Inc. (ASI), a federal energy and environmental services company. At ASI, he was responsible for all of the finance and accounting activities as well as the expansion of the company’s operations into Mexico City, Mexico and Buenos Aires, Argentina and the acquisition of a company.
Prior to his role as Director of Finance and Accounting at ASI, Mr. MacIvor worked in the public accounting industry for five years at Arthur Andersen LLP, where he served in the financial services and government contracting practices.
A Certified Public Accountant licensed in New Mexico, Mr. MacIvor is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. MacIvor received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of New Mexico. |
