Mr. Powell joined SeniorHealth in 2004 and supervises most of our Texas operations. He owned and operated Red River Hospital, a 66-bed psychiatric facility, in Wichita Falls, Texas since 1997. Mr. Powell was employed with Vendell Healthcare as CEO of two of its psychiatric hospitals from 1992 until 1997. Prior to employment with Vendell, Mr. Powell served as a hospital administrator for several hospitals in the National Medical Enterprises chain from 1985 until 1992. He served on the faculty of University of Houston in clinical psychology, and conducted a private practice of clinical psychology from 1985 to 1988 in Houston, Texas. Mr. Powell received his Bachelor’s degree in industrial and organizational psychology and his Master’s degree in clinical psychology from University of Houston. |
