Richard Steingraber joined KPMG Corporate Finance in 2006. Richard serves as a Managing Director of the Investment Banking Team bringing over 25 years of investment banking experience.
Prior to joining KPMG Corporate Finance, Richard was a Managing Director at Duff & Phelps, LLC specializing in Mergers and Acquisitions advisory work. Richard's extensive project experience has included over 150 completed assignments for corporate clients including over 75 strategic advisory/M&A assignments and an equal number of completed public offerings. Richard has also rendered more than 40 fairness opinions and has substantial experience representing special committees of public companies. Prior to Duff & Phelps, Richard was a Managing Director of Investment Banking for Wachovia Securities, Inc. As the leader of the Diversified Industries Group, he had responsibilities for leading M&A executions and equity transactions for over a dozen industry groups. While at Wachovia, he also served on the firm's Equity Capital Markets Commitment Committee. Prior to that, Richard was a Senior Managing Director for Interstate/Johnson Lane, a listed Southeastern New York Stock Exchange member firm, where he worked for over 20 years building successful investment banking practices in multiple industries, including real estate, restaurants, specialty retailing, industrials, utilities and financial services. He started his career with Salomon Brothers as an Institutional Account Executive.
Richard is a graduate of The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Richard is a registered principal with the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD). |
