Rick Simmons manages all sales efforts and leads the business development executives and solutions teams. Simmons brings to E2open more than 26 years of experience in sales and high technology products. Most recently, Simmons led the software sales division of Sun Microsystems. Prior to Sun, Simmons was the Vice President of Sales, Fusion Middleware Products at Oracle, where he was instrumental in directing Oracle's strategy for becoming a market leader for enterprise infrastructure solutions. Prior to this Simmons was the Vice President, North American Field Operations at Oblix (leading provider of security and SOA management products, acquired by Oracle in 2005) as well as the Civilian Sales Director at Mercury Interactive. Simmons is a seasoned sales professional who brings with him extensive experience in building successful sales organizations in both large organizations and start-up companies. Simmons holds a B.S. in Business Management from the University of Maryland. |
