Richard Stanton is the Founder and Chairman of ControlScan. With more than 15 years of IT industry expertise, Richard is a seasoned technology professional with a demonstrated and extensive track record of success. Prior to founding ControlScan, Richard managed a number of IT, security and electronics related companies, including his most recent management role with Digital Visual Display Technologies which was listed on the Inc. 500 for three consecutive years, 2002, 2003 and 2004. With a growth rate exceeding 4000%, Digital Visual Display Technologies was also ranked number one for the 2003 Inner City 100 award - the fastest growing Inner City companies within the United States beating over 5000 other applicants. Richard was presented the award by Atlanta Mayor Shirley Franklin at Harvard University. Richard holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Computer Science with a security focus. He lives with his wife and two sons in Atlanta, GA. |
