Richard is a Board Advisor to Millburn Capital Group and has over 20 years of experience providing legal and investment banking services to financial institutions, private equity funds and private and public companies with complex corporate and financial structures.Prior to joining Millburn Capital Group, Richard was a member of CIBC's Media and Telecommunications Investment Banking Group where he was involved in private placements, public offerings, and M&A transactions. Richard started his career as a corporate and securities lawyer at Rubin Baum Levin Constant & Friedman (now RubinBaum LLP) where he spent 10 of his 18 years as a partner. At Rubin Baum, Richard specialized in mergers and acquisitions and financing transactions for a diverse client base, including manufacturers, retailers, media and telecommunications companies and financial institutions. His work included serving as counsel to debtors, creditors and equity holders in both friendly and contested restructurings as well as Chapter 11 proceedings.Richard has a BA from Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts and a JD from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York City. |
