Prior to joining Starthis, Rich was a Senior IT Consultant at Accenture for nine years. At Accenture he worked with the CIO Security organization to create new security standards for Microsoft Operating Systems; and identified security gaps in network, operating system, and applications in multiple Accenture offices. In addition, he performed cost/benefit analyses and provided recommendations on host-based intrusion software products on all Accenture production servers, and created the Windows 2000 server security standard for the Internet and Web Hosting group. Rich was responsible for special purpose remote access solutions including analog dial-up, ISDN, and VPN, and he designed, implemented, and maintained anti-virus solutions for the production servers in the Northbrook data center. Rich has over fifteen years of experience in network, security and systems adminstration. At Starthis, Rich is responsible for the company's IT infrastructure and the configuration and maintenance of IT, networking hardware, and enterprise applications used in demonstration systems. He is also supervising the systems security aspects in the technical design team for a US Department of Homeland Security contract. |
