Richard Ranieri joined the company in June 2005 as Senior Vice President, Human Resources. In this position Mr. Ranieri is responsible for leading Neurocrine's human resource programs and managing the strategic organizational growth and leadership development efforts. Mr. Ranieri held a similar management position at Genencor International from 1993 - 2005 when he directed the growth of Genencor from a privately held "start-up" to a publicly traded company with over 1300 employees worldwide. Prior to joining Genencor, Mr. Ranieri spent over 13 years with GlaxoSmithKline where he held a variety of human resources and sales management positions within the pharmaceutical division. Mr. Ranieri earned his bachelor's degree from Villanova University in accounting and social science and received a Master's degree in organizational development from Rider University. Mr. Ranieri has held various Board assignments for both private and public organizations including President of Big Brothers/Big Sisters.
