Richard Prokup is Vice President of Operations for First Industrial Realty Trust’s Central region, where he oversees asset management, operations and lease negotiations. Mr. Prokup has over 17 years of commercial real estate experience, most recently as Senior Vice President, National Director- Asset and Account Management at Grubb & Ellis Management Services, Inc. (GEMS), where he focused on new business, client relationships and asset management. He previously oversaw GEMS’ Chicago office, which managed more than 15 million square feet of commercial real estate. Prior to that, he served as GEMS’ Vice President of Asset Services, where he oversaw portfolio operations, property strategic plans, lease negotiation, property valuation, acquisition and disposition due diligence, and financial analysis. Earlier in his career, Mr. Prokup was Vice President of Asset Management at M&J Wilkow, Ltd., where he oversaw asset management of a 3.5 million square foot real estate portfolio for a consortium of British pension funds. Mr. Prokup earned his masters of business administration and bachelor of fine arts at the University of Memphis. He is a licensed real estate broker in the state of Illinois. |
