In June 2005, Richard Juelis brought to WorldHeart more than twenty-five years of financial and general management experience with both large and emerging healthcare companies. He has served as Chief Financial Officer for the past fifteen years with San Francisco Bay Area public companies including XOMA Corp., VIVUS Inc., and Cellegy Pharmaceuticals Inc.
He has widespread experience in the areas of financing, investor relations, strategic planning, manufacturing operations and business development, having completed over a dozen financing transactions and several corporate collaborations and acquisitions.
Mr. Juelis has an MBA from Columbia University, a BS in Chemistry from Fordham University and is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA). |
