As Managing Director of Mercator's Property Construction Practice, Rick is responsible for builder's risk, contractor's equipment and related inland marine placements.Rick has more than 25 years of experience in the insurance industry focused entirely on construction. Prior to joining Mercator, Rick was the co-founder of Advocate Insurance Management, Inc. (AIM), a wholesale operation specializing in construction; AIM was acquired by Mercator in January 2006. Previously, Rick was President of RLI Construction.Rick received his Associate of the Insurance Institute of Canada (AIIC) degree from the University of Manitoba.
