Richard Germek has over 30 years of marketing, sales management, business development and financial management experience with Fortune 100 and entrepreneurial firms. Rich's background includes start-up, turnaround, international operations, strategic and business planning, and marketing and sales leadership experience. During his career, he has direct experience in manufacturing, distribution, communications and the information services industries.
Rich has worked for a variety of companies ranging from discrete and process manufacturing (agricultural feeds, musical instruments, communication systems, and water heating systems) to one of the largest distribution companies (HVAC, Plumbing, building products) in the USA. He has worked for four Fortune 75 firms in corporate positions. His roles & responsibilities included HQ executive management in sales and marketing and regional financial management positions. He has established independent dealer and distributor networks throughout the US and in over 60 international countries.
He has been involved in designing cost-effective integrated marketing programs that establish brand and company recognition, strategic planning, acquisitions and divestitures, cash flow improvement, credit management and business development.
Rich has a proven track record in multi-channel global markets and possesses a proven ability to establish the platform for a highly professional organization to achieve higher levels of growth and profitability.
Prior to joining Focus Management Group, Richard was the Director of Marketing for A.O. Smith Water Products Company where he was responsible for strategy development, market research, market planning, product and brand profitability and international sales.
Richard earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a focus in Business Administration and Finance from Pennsylvania State University.
