Utilizing more than 30 years of experience with large growth companies in the federal contracting sector, Dick Galanis is responsible for overseeing the company's financial management systems and processes while supporting acquisition integration. Prior to joining Serco in 2008, Dick was the CFO of General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems (AIS), where he successfully integrated several key acquisitions, including the $1.5 billion Veridian acquisition in 2003 that more than doubled business unit revenue. He is also credited with integrating disparate accounting systems into one structure that streamlined operations. Prior to the 1999 General Dynamics acquisition of GTE Government Systems, Galanis served as Director of Finance for the GTE Government Systems Electronic Systems division, where he strengthened the finance group by creating a customer-focused culture and improved collaboration within the business units. Dick holds a BS in Administration from Boston University and an MBA from Babson College. |
