Richard Fall has more than 24 years of experience in engineering and engineering management, ranging from small, fast-moving startups to established public companies, developing cutting-edge technology, moving new products from concept stage to the marketplace, building world-class engineering organizations and delivering value to the customer and investors. Richard was an early employee and VP of Engineering at StarVox Communications, a VoIP facilities-based ASP model company for the SME/Enterprise space for advanced IP applications and services. Previously, he was a Partner with Ridge Partners LLC, a high technology consulting, business strategy, Interim Management, and investment advisor. Prior to Ridge, Richard spent twenty years in engineering and engineering management, in both mid-size and small companies, including publicly held corporations and high-risk startups. Richard has proven hands-on leadership in engineering process turnaround teams and holds three patents in compression technology and high-speed protocol processing. He has numerous publications on data collection and analysis systems in physics journals. Rich earned both a BSEE and an MSEE from Stanford University, with an emphasis on computer engineering, and is a member of Tau Beta Pi engineering honor society. |
