Mr. Richard Duff is the VicePresident of Information Technology and a Director of INSIGHT. Mr. Duff is a pioneer in the implementation of large-scale optimization software on PCs. He has been at the forefront of this field since the beginning of the PC era, with emphasis on graphical user interfaces, optimization coordination, database design, development tools, distributed computing, and platform independence. Representative projects include vehicle routing, network design, production planning, stock deployment, plant line scheduling, and facility location.
Mr. Duff earned a B.S. in Chemistry from Drexel University and a M.S. (with Distinction) in Operations Research from the Naval Postgraduate School. |
