Richard Dansereau is President and Chief Operating Officer of Cadim, a division of Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec and a member of the Real Estate group. As such, he manages a portfolio of real estate assets and oversees the company’s international development and management of its network of offices and companies, offering advisory and investment services, on conventional and non-conventional real estate debts or equity products to institutional and private investors internationally. Cadim also invests in real estate equity and financing products and offers structured finance services. Mr. Dansereau’s duties include managing Cadim’s interests in a network of companies established in North America, Europe and Asia. As such, he is responsible for the company’s interest in Maestro, MCAP, Presima, CWCapital, The Praedium Group and Stoneleigh Capital. Background Richard Dansereau joined the Cadim team in October 2000 as Vice- President, Investments, and was later promoted to Executive Vice- President, Investments. Mr. Dansereau began his career as a senior negotiator with D.S. Marcil, a national real estate brokerage firm. He then spent four years as General Manager at the property development firm Camcorp Development. He also worked for North American Trust, Colliers International (Québec) and Brazos Advisors Canada before being appointed Vice-President, Acquisitions, of the Canadian Real Estate Investment Trust (CREIT) in 1997. Mr. Dansereau completed an advanced training program in finance (Finance I and II) at the Real Estate Institute of Canada and holds a Certificate in Marketing Management from HEC Montréal.
