Richard V. Sandler is Chairman of the Board of Nextera Enterprises, Inc. Mr. Sandler previously was Vice-Chairman of Nextera from February 2002 though December 2003. He has been a Director of the Company since its inception. A partner in the law firm of Maron & Sandler, he has practiced law since 1973, and specializes in real estate transactions and general securities and business law. He has also been involved since 1983 in consulting with respect to business acquisitions. Mr. Sandler is a member of the State Bar of California and has served on various boards of educational and philanthropic institutions, including the Executive Board of Heal L.A., the Executive Board of Jewish Federation Council, the Board of Directors of Valley Beth Shalom Synagogue, Trustee of Brentwood School, and the Board of the Foundations of the Milken Families. Mr. Sandler received a bachelor of science degree from the University of California, Berkeley, where he graduated with honors, and his juris doctorate degree from the UCLA School of Law. |
