Rick Czerwinski is National Director-Leasing and Asset Management for First Industrial Realty Trust, where he is responsible for the leasing and marketing of the Company’s national and joint venture industrial portfolios. Mr. Czerwinski also oversees the management and training of First Industrial's asset management and leasing personnel. Prior to his current role, Mr. Czerwinski was National Leasing Director for the Company and previously was Senior Regional Director for First Industrial Realty Trust’s Michigan region, where he oversaw acquisitions, development, build-to-suits, asset management and lease negotiations for the Company’s Detroit/Grand Rapids portfolio. He joined First Industrial in 1997 and has more than twenty years of commercial real estate experience, including extensive experience representing institutional real estate owners such as Prudential, AEW, Ohio Teachers Pension Fund, Aetna, John Hancock and Lennar Partners. Prior to joining First Industrial, Mr. Czerwinski was vice president at DeMattia Development and was responsible for build-to-suit and speculative development. He also held positions as vice president for Koll, responsible for overseeing its third-party management and leasing portfolio in Suburban Detroit; vice president at Damone/Andrew, Inc., and leasing manager at Grubb & Ellis, where he was responsible for leasing the Prudential Town Center in Southfield, Michigan, a two million square foot mixed-use development.
Mr. Czerwinski holds a master's degree in business administration with a concentration in finance from Wayne State University. He earned his bachelor's degree from Western Michigan University. Mr. Czerwinski is a member of the South Oakland County Board of Realtors. |
