Mr. Powers served as President of MHNet Behavorial Care’s public programs division and its Florida Prepaid Health Plan. He also provided business strategy development consulting services to a number of behavioral healthcare companies. Earlier, Powers was Senior Vice President of Centpatico, focusing on sales and marketing in the HMO, employer and government markets. He previously held senior sales and marketing positions with Health Integrated, APS Healthcare and Comprehensive Care. Before that, Powers worked as a licensed mental health counselor in Florida and served in the U.S. Army Medical Service Corps as a commissioned Captain. He earned a bachelors degree from the University of South Florida and Masters degree in health related professions from the University of Florida.
