Mr. Anderson has 37 years of progressive technical and business management experience in the electric utility industry, 33 of those years being in various engineering and operations positions at CIPCO. Anderson is skilled in technical problem solving and provides leadership to a staff of 75 employees performing generation, transmission, engineering, environmental and safety functions.
He is a seasoned negotiator under multiple scenarios including labor issues, facilities agreements and regulatory matters. His flexibility to change gives him a clear vision of the re-regulated electric industry. Mr. Anderson and the Utility Operations Groups' prime objective is customer satisfaction achieved through continuous process refinement in each of the operating functions.
Mr. Anderson is a member of the Mid-Continent Area Power Pool (MAPP) Management Committee, the Mid-American Interconnection Network (MAIN) Management Committee and the Midwest Reliability Organization (MRO) Management Committee. He serves on the Board of Directors of Myriad Developers, L.C. and is a member of the American Management Association.
Mr. Anderson is a published author in Transmission and Distribution and Rural Electrification magazines. He is a recipient of the Governor of Iowa's Business Development recognition for assistance with the made in Iowa movie Field of Dreams. He is the recipient of the Iowa Area Development Group's "Leadership in Facilitating" award for work in negotiating rural Business Development projects. |
