Richard Ruth focuses his practice on immigration law. He frequently helps employers maneuver through complex immigration procedures to secure H1B1 visas, L visas, other employment- based visas, and green cards. He also assists employers with related family-based immigration matters.
Richard assists employers with traditional employment law issues as well. He also has advocacy experience before state and federal administrative agencies, such as the INS, the Department of Labor and the EEOC.
Richard is admitted to practice before all Florida state courts, the Middle and Northern District of Florida federal courts, and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a member of the Florida Bar Association and the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
While in law school, Richard was a faculty research assistant for the current Dean of Stetson Law School, in the areas of domestic and international labor and employment law, and was also recognized by the Florida Bar's Labor and Employment Law Section as the Outstanding Labor and Employment Law Student of the Year.
