Richard L. Mayer has over thirty-five years experience in the field of intellectual property law, representing and counseling clients in major patent litigations, in the procurement and licensing of extensive patent portfolios, and in the recognition of the intellectual property rights of competitors.
A substantial portion of Mr. Mayer's practice is directed to the representation of the intellectual property interests of European companies in the United States and he acts on behalf of, and counsels, numerous large and well-known German and other European industrial and technology-focused corporations with respect to the entire spectrum of their intellectual property issues in the United States.
Mr. Mayer is the author of the book Das U.S. Patent (Carl Heymanns Verlag 2002). He has lectured extensively and presented seminars on topical issues of U.S. patent law to business and professional audiences in Germany.
