With more than two decades of experience in building and leading successful large business service companies, Rick Marcantonio is superbly qualified to lead G&K's management team. In his role as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer, Rick leverages his diverse operations talent and extensive knowledge of the business services sector to lead G&K. Previously serving as G&K's president, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Executive Officer, he was named Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer in November of 2005.
With an energetic management style, Rick is committed to expanding and strengthening the company's customer-focused, growth-oriented apparel services business. He has a strong sales and marketing background and proven skill in guiding and working with regional business units. He adds valuable depth and experience to G&K's management team.
Prior to joining G&K, Rick served as president of the industrial and service sectors at Ecolab Inc., a leading global developer and marketer of cleaning and maintenance products. At Ecolab, he led employees across six operating divisions, helping to drive significant sales growth. Prior to Ecolab, he served in senior management, sales and marketing positions at Keebler Company, a subsidiary of United Biscuits (Holdings) plc. He also served as president and chief executive officer of Specialty Brands, another subsidiary of United Biscuits (Holdings) plc.
Rick is a director of H.B. Fuller, and serves as a member of H.B. Fuller's Audit Committee. He earned his bachelor's degree in business administration from Elmhurst College. |
