Richard L. Magee is senior vice president and general counsel of EnPro Industries Inc. Prior to assuming his current position Magee was affiliated with Goodrich Corporation the former parent of EnPro. From 1989 until 2001 Magee was employed by United Dominion Industries where he became senior vice president general counsel and corporate secretary. He joined United Dominion as assistant general counsel after serving as a partner in the law firm of Robinson Bradshaw & Hinson PA.
Magee received his undergraduate degree in economics and political science and his juris doctorate from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He served on the State Bar Council the governing body for the North Carolina State Bar from 1992-95 and served as an advisory member to that body’s Ethics Committee in 1996. He was a member of the Council for the Corporate Counsel section of the North Carolina Bar Association from 1990-98 and a director of the North Carolina ACCA chapter from 1998-00.
Magee is active in Myers Park United Methodist Church and serves in a variety of roles in local youth sports organizations. He and his wife Saundra have three children. |
