Mr. Algood joined SeniorHealth in early 2006. His responsibilities include identification, development, feasibility and diligence for new hospital projects, whether free standing or in partnership with acute care, medical/surgical providers, primarily in the eastern United States. With 20 years of experience in healthcare finance and operations, he has operated a successful consulting practice, and has served in Vice President, Director and Manager Positions with hospital chain organizations including HCA, Quorum, Iasis, and NetCare. Mr. Algood has worked with hospitals in 27 states and has a background in reimbursement, regulatory affairs, and healthcare operations finance. Mr. Algood is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a bachelor’s degree from The University of Alabama with a major in Accounting. |
