Mr. Sampson has extensive pharmaceutical management experience, helping to generate significant sales increases at rapidly growing specialty pharmaceutical companies. He comes to Auriga from Ligand Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:LGND), where he served as a Regional Business Manager since joining the Organization in 2004. At Ligand, he was responsible for developing a Specialty and Primary Care Sales Division which was targeted to the Pain and Pain Specialty Arenas. Prior to joining Ligand Pharmaceuticals, Mr. Sampson was responsible for building the National Sales Division for PharmaDerm, the Branded Dermatology Division of Altana, Inc. Additionally, Mr. Sampson has held Sales Management and Marketing positions for Elan Pharmaceuticals and CIBA Vision Ophthalmics (Now Novartis Ophthalmics). Mr. Sampson holds a B.S. Degree from Freed-Hardeman University (Henderson, TN) and his MBA from the Georgia Institute of Technology (Atlanta, GA). |
