Rich Harshman became Executive Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer in October 2003. As CFO, Mr. Harshman is responsible for all accounting, financial, treasury, tax, and internal audit functions and for investor relations. Mr. Harshman also leads ATI’s shared services, including procurement and information technologies. He also chairs the ATI corporate pension investment committee.
Mr. Harshman was elected Senior Vice President Finance and Chief Financial Officer in December 2001. From December 2000 to December 2001 he was Vice President-Finance and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to that, he was Vice President, Investor Relations and Corporate Communications. Mr. Harshman joined the Company as a member of the Corporate Internal Audit Department in 1978, and has served in increasingly important roles at both the corporate and operating levels. Mr. Harshman is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Robert Morris University. He is a member of the Board of Trustees at Robert Morris University, is a past director of the Ethics Officer Association, and has been active in various charitable and civic organizations including the United Way and the Challenger Baseball Program for children with special needs. |
