As Lydian Bank & Trust’s Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer, Rich Gerrity co-directs the bank’s investment management function, including the development and implementation of investment strategies for Lydian’s wealth management clients in Florida. Mr. Gerrity is also responsible for developing, managing and growing Lydian Bank & Trust’s wealth management business for Florida’s west coast. Mr. Gerrity’s office is headquartered in Sarasota where he has lived since 1988. Prior to joining Lydian, Mr. Gerrity had an illustrious 19-year career with a national trust bank in Sarasota, with increasing responsibilities in the Trust Investment Department. In his most recent position as Senior Vice President and Senior Investment Officer, Mr. Gerrity managed the firm’s investment team of 12 portfolio managers and four investment associates and was responsible for nearly $5.0 billion in assets.
Mr. Gerrity received his undergraduate degree in Economics from Florida Atlantic University and his MBA from University of South Florida. He holds both the CFA and CIMA® designations and was a past president and board member of the CFA of Tampa Bay. Mr. Gerrity's community involvement includes serving on the board of directors for Habitat for Humanity of Sarasota County, Inc.; member of the endowment committee for Sarasota YMCA; and member of the endowment committee for Sarasota Memorial Hospital Healthcare Foundation. |
