Richard J. Federowicz is a shareholder of Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, P.C. He concentrates his practice in the areas of Health Care Law, Commercial Litigation, and Estate Planning and Administration. He has tried a wide variety of cases with a particular emphasis in Medical Malpractice. Mr. Federowicz is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar Association, and American Bar Association. He is admitted to practice before all state courts and all federal courts, including the Supreme Court of the United States. He is also a member of the Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Federowicz was a partner in the law firm of Weis & Weis (1980-1988) and a staff attorney at Neighborhood Legal Services Association (1977-1980). He is the Director of the Pro Bono Department at Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote. Mr. Federowicz graduated from Lehigh University in 1974 with a B.S. in International Relations and History. He received his J.D. from Duquesne University in 1977. Mr. Federowicz was a member of the Shaler Area School Board from 1985 to 1997, a former member of the Board of Directors of the Shaler North Hills Library, served as Vice President of the Millvale Boys & Girls Club, and was formerly a Senior Warden of his church.
