J. Richard Bird was elected a director of Enbridge Energy Company, Inc. Sept. 1, 2000, and of Enbridge Energy Management, L.L.C. May 14, 2002, serving both boards through Jan. 23, 2003. He was elected vice president of Liquids Pipelines Jan. 23, 2003, and re-elected to the boards Nov. 5, 2003. Mr. Bird also serves as vice president of both boards. He was appointed group vice president, Transportation North of Enbridge Inc. in May 2001. He is responsible for the Liquids Pipelines operations of Enbridge Energy Partners, L.P. and the Enbridge (U.S.) Inc. investments in the Alliance and Vector natural gas systems. Mr. Bird's current role as executive vice president of Liquids Pipelines complements his previous experience as senior vice president, Corporate Planning & Development of Enbridge Inc., a position he held from 1997 to 2000. |
