Richard Baumann specializes in creditor representation in commercial collection matters. He is certified as a Creditor's Rights Specialist by the American Board of Specialization. He has served for over 15 years as a Judge Pro Tempore in the Los Angeles Superior Court system, and has been admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court. After serving as chairman of the Western Regional Members Association, Mr. Baumann was elected to the Board of Governors of the Commercial Law League of America. In 1991, he was elected national president of the Commercial Law League. Mr. Baumann serves on the Board of Directors of the National Institute of Credit Management. He has been elected as a Fellow of the Commercial Law Foundation and is a member of the National Conference of Bar Presidents. He is an Associate Editor of the Commercial Law Journal. Mr. Baumann served on the Board of Directors of the CLLA Academy of Commercial and Bankruptcy Law Specialists, and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the American Board of Certification. He is the author of The American Lawyer's Quarterly pamphlet, "Legal Aspects of Collecting an Account Receivable". Mr. Baumann received his B.S., cum laude, and his J.D. from University of Wisconsin. He is listed in Who's Who in America, Who's Who in American Law, and was named as one of Southern California s Super Lawyers in 2007. |
