Richard Wright has been a member of the ASG Board of Directors since August of 1999. From December, 2001 to March, 2005, he was a member of the ASG management team serving as the Vice Chairman of ASG and President and Chief Executive Officer of Prison Health Services. Prior to joining ASG, Mr. Wright was Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Covation LLC, a provider of software integration and data management services for healthcare payors until acquired by Perot Systems in 2001. In 1988, he co-founded PhyCor, Inc., where he served as Director and Executive Vice President of Operations until 1998. From 1975 to 1988, he had senior management roles at HCA, Inc., and its group health venture, EquiCor. He is currently Senior Partner for Southwind Health Partners, a physician practice management firm. He is also the Principal for healthprojects, LLC, a firm providing advice and counsel to the healthcare field. Mr. Wright holds a Masters of Health Administration from Georgia State University and a B.S. degree from Michigan State University |
