Mr. Rostowsky has more than 25 years of experience in healthcare administration, development and consulting. Mr. Rostowsky was involved in the licensing of one of the first federally funded HMOs in the United States. Richard Rostowsky is a co-founder of International Managed Care Strategies, Inc. (IMCS) and serves as its President.
His experience includes the development from inception of HealthChoice of Connecticut, a statewide Preferred Provider Organization, and served as President of HealthChoice. He has developed strategic plans for numerous PHOs and has been extensively involved in financial projections and budget management. Mr. Rostowsky is currently involved in development of HMO, Medicaid and small group products.
Mr. Rostowsky served as Associate Dean of Hospital Administration at Cornell University and held senior management positions at St. Joseph Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island. He received his Masters degree in Hospital Administration from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio, and Bachelor of Science degrees from both the University of Vermont and the University of Massachusetts. |
