A partner at Pierce Atwood, Dick focuses his practice on the sale and purchase of real estate and the leasing of office, warehouse, industrial, and retail properties. His practice includes the negotiation of purchase and sale agreements, leases, subleases, reciprocal easement agreements, construction contracts, architects’ agreements, brokerage agreements, and other related agreements. Dick joined Pierce Atwood in April 2000. Dick has practiced real estate law for more than 20 years, most recently as a partner at Drinker Biddle & Shanley LLP (formerly known as Shanley & Fisher, P.C.). His clients included large corporations, major mid-Atlantic developers, and retail tenants. He was responsible for the supervision of all warehouse and office leases for a major mid-Atlantic real estate developer, approximately 900,000 square feet of office space leases for a major insurance company, and retail leases around the country for a national retail store. He has represented owners as well as purchasers and tenants. Prior to joining Drinker Biddle & Shanley LLP, Dick was an associate with the law firm then known as Estroff, Waldman & Poretsky in New York City. During his years in New York City, Dick was involved in complex real estate transactions across the country. |
