Richard D. Molina, M.D., joined the physician staff of Atlanta Maternal-Fetal Medicine, P.C. in April 1994. Previously, he was affiliated with Magee-Womens Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. Dr. Molina is board-certified in Maternal-Fetal Medicine and Obstetrics and Gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Molina received his medical degree in 1978 from Ohio State University College of Medicine. He completed his Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and his fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. He has held academic appointments in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta. Dr. Molina has published articles on glucose metabolism during pregnancy and the use of medications to soften the cervix prior to induction of labor. He is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine, the National Perinatal Association, and the Georgia and Atlanta Obstetrical and Gynecological Societies. |
