Richard D. McLellan brings extensive judiciary and corporate board experience to ITC. McLellan spent 25 years as the director of the government policy department for the legal firm Dykema Gossett. He retired from Dykema after 34 years in private practice. During his career, McLellan served as treasurer and chairman of the Michigan Chamber of Commerce and the Michigan Competitive Telecommunications Providers Association. He was recently named Chairman of the Board for the Council for Africa Infrastructure Development. McLellan is currently chairman of the Michigan Law Revision Commission, a position he has filled since 1986. He served two terms as a member of Board of Commissioners of the State Bar of Michigan by appointment of the Supreme Court. He is serving as Second Chair and a member of the Board of the Advocates Guild in the Michigan Supreme Court Historical Society. He graduated from Michigan State University Honors College and the University of Michigan Law School. He teaches as an adjunct professor at Michigan State's Department of Advertising, Public Relations and Retailing. |
