Rick Polley holds the position of Director of Asset Management for Kane Realty Corporation. In this position, Polley is responsible for the day-to-day operations, property management, marketing and financial performance of Kane’s development and management portfolio of retail, office and residential properties, including North Hills, the company’s landmark mixed-use property in Midtown Raleigh.
With over 20 years in the commercial real estate industry, Polley’s experience includes the management, development and redevelopment of enclosed malls, mixed-use properties, lifestyle centers, community centers, and office buildings for companies such as Urban Retail Properties Co., The Rouse Company, and General Growth. Most recently, Polley was Senior Vice President and Group Manager at The Streets at Southpoint, the award-winning 1.3 million square foot shopping, dining and entertainment destination in Durham. In this position, he was also responsible for additional retail properties totaling 2.7 million square feet. Other experience includes the redevelopment of Military Circle in Norfolk, VA, a 945,000 square foot mixed-use property of retail, office and hotel owned by JPMorgan Real Estate Investments.
A native of Baltimore, Polley is a graduate of Towson University with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and the Institute of Real Estate Management. He has earned the Certified Shopping Center Manager (CSM) designation from ICSC and also served as a member of ICSC’s CSM Committee. |
