Mr. Covel is responsible for determining and directing all legal matters relating to the corporation as well as all outside legal activities. He ensures that all legal rights of the corporation are maintained. He also coordinates outside legal counsel as well as in-house guidance/counsel.
Prior to joining DRC in December 2000, Mr. Covel had a distinguished career, most recently at Foster-Miller where he established and held the office of General Counsel. Previously he held management positions at Waste Management, Inc. and at the Mass Bay Transit Authority.
Mr. Covel earned his degree in law from the New England School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Marine and Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Maritime Academy.
