Mr. Borowski is responsible for leadership on a national level of the expansion and growth of AvalonBay’s redevelopment program in addition to managing the new construction in the Mid-Atlantic and New Jersey regions.
Since joining AvalonBay, Mr. Borowski has managed construction efforts for the company in the Mid-Atlantic and New Jersey regions, including the development of new suburban garden and mid-rise apartment communities in metropolitan areas. In 2005, he assumed the additional responsibility for the Company’s redevelopment construction activities as AvalonBay expanded its acquisition activities through the newly launched Investment Management Fund.
Prior to joining AvalonBay as a Construction Superintendent in 1997, Mr. Borowski spent 13 years managing the construction of numerous large residential communities while working for regional residential developers and builders in the Mid-Atlantic area.
Mr. Borowski graduated from the University of Maryland in 1990 with a Bachelor of General Studies. |
