Rich Marcogliese serves as Executive Vice President - Refining Operations. Marcogliese previously served as Senior Vice President - Refining Operations. Prior to that he held the position of Senior Vice President - Strategic Planning for Valero and was responsible for developing the strategic plan for the new Valero.
Before joining Valero’s corporate office, he held the position of Vice President and General Manager of the company’s Benicia refinery. Prior to Valero’s purchase of the Benicia refinery from ExxonMobil, Marcogliese worked for Exxon for 26 years serving in various operational and technical supervisory positions at the Benicia refinery and at the company’s Baton Rouge refinery, refining and supply headquarters and the former Bayway refinery in New Jersey.
Marcogliese holds a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering from New York University School of Engineering and Science. |
