Rich Garwood is president - Northern California/Nevada Region for Verizon Wireless, responsible for the company's sales and financial performance from the Oregon border, south to Bakersfield and Santa Barbara, as well as portions of Northern Nevada, including Reno.
Garwood is a 17-year veteran of the wireless industry and was most recently president-Great Plains region for Verizon Wireless. Prior to that he served as vice president of sales for Verizon Wireless Messaging Services in Dallas.
He began his career as a sales representative for Bell Atlantic Paging and held several positions with Bell Atlantic Mobile, including general manager of national accounts and director of sales.
