Experience:
Rex Palmer is an attorney of counsel in Mayer Brown's real estate group. Rex has wide-ranging experience in secured lending agreements with commercial bank customers engaged in construction and real estate development for shopping center and office building construction. His practice includes expertise in: private debt restructurings; real estate aspects of leveraged buy-out financings, working capital financings and other financing transactions; medium-term loans secured by commercial real estate; participating mortgage loans; and real estate synthetic leases. Additionally, he handles acquisition and sale of commercial properties for REITS and other investment funds; drafting and negotiation of leasing and management agreements for commercial properties; leases of office space, retail space, warehouses and manufacturing facilities; and real estate aspects of the acquisition and sale of businesses.
