Renee Axtman is the Administrative Director of the Primary Care Division that includes Family Practice, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Dermatology, Pediatrics, Emergency Room, Urgent Care, Special Procedures, Pharmacy, Psychiatry, Chemical Dependency, Psychology, Family Birthing Center, Neonatal Intensive Care, Inpatient Pediatrics and Psychiatry and Chemical Dependency. She is a 1983 graduate of the University of North Dakota with a bachelor's degree in Nursing. Before assuming her present position in July 1997, Ms. Axtman served as the Executive Leader for Psychiatry/Chemical Dependency and Family Focused Care Centers, 1995-1997; Area Leader for Psychiatry/Chemical Dependency and Family Focused Care Centers, 1994-1995; Nursing Clinical Manager for Behavioral Health Division, 1992-1994; Psychiatric Nursing Clinical Manager, 1987-1992; Psychiatric Nursing Team Leader, 1986-1987; Psychiatric Nurse, 1984-1986; and Orthopedic/Urology Nurse, 1983-1984.
She is active in several professional organizations including the American Organization of Nurse Executives and the Volunteer Hospitals of America Upper Midwest. Ms. Axtman is active in a number of community and professional organizations and activities, including serving on the Salvation Army, "The Answer" and the Families First Board of Directors. |
