Remo Picchietti joined WLG in August 2007 when the group acquired World Commerce Services, LLC, a US-based logistics provider which traces its roots back to 1976. Prior to acquiring World Commerce in 2004, Remo was a principal of Mayflower Associates, a firm he founded to invest in global logistics related businesses. Before that, he was the owner and president of DBA Products Co., Inc., a business he sold to a Fortune 500 company. Remo has exported, imported, and manufactured product to, from, and in more than 100 countries, with extensive field experience in many of those markets. He has developed and managed staff and facilities from the Americas to Europe to Asia.
In addition to his professional activities, Remo teaches graduate-level International Management and International Marketing classes specializing in global marketing and logistics.
He earned his MBA from Northwestern Universityˇ¦s Kellogg Graduate School of Management and his B.S. from Drake University. |
