Rebecca Roedell is the Chief Financial Officer of Sharper Image. Ms. Roedell was named CFO of Sharper Image on June 1, 2007. Prior to Sharper Image, Ms. Roedell was with Tower Records, an independent music and entertainment retailer, where she held a number of senior financial positions from December 2002 to May 2007. Most recently, she held the position of Chief Financial Officer and Senior Executive Vice President, where she was responsible for accounting, external financial reporting, internal controls, Trade relationships, credit facility needs, and cross-departmental management tools. Ms. Roedell is credited with guiding the completion of the Chapter 11 filing and subsequent sale of the company. Other titles held at Tower Records included Senior Financial Officer and Executive Vice President, Senior Vice President of Finance and Executive Vice President and Senior Vice President of Finance.
From June 2002 to December 2002, Ms. Roedell was the Senior Assurance Manager at KPMG. During her time at the company, she supervised and managed the audits of private and public companies and all audit-related activities, recruited new hires and taught audit and financial reporting classes to KPMG employees |
