Mr. Dewhirst joined Town Sports International in 1992 as an Assistant Manager in the company’s Boston Sports Clubs. In 1993 he was promoted to the position of Development Manager in 1996 he became Development Director and in 1999 he was appointed to his current position. Mr. Dewhirst holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Ohio Wesleyan University and has pursued Graduate Studies in Business at Boston University. Prior to joining the Company Mr. Dewhirst was the Director of Development for a small development company in southern New England and he has been involved in the health club and real estate development industry since 1985. Mr. Dewhirst has been an active member of ICSC (International Council of Shopping Centers) since 1990. |
